Despite advances in treatment and prevention, outdated Ohio laws still criminalize people living with HIV. These laws—based on fear rather than science—can lead to harsher penalties, stigma, and discrimination simply because of HIV status.
Learn how to turn your lived experience into action and help ensure people living with HIV in Hamilton County are treated with dignity and equality.
Join us at Caracole to learn about these unjust laws and how you can advocate against them. In the training, you’ll learn to share your story, understand the basics of HIV criminalization in Ohio, and use your experience to influence local policy.
Choose the date that works best—both sessions cover the same material, so you only need to attend one:
Lunch will be provided, and participants will be paid for their time and effort.
